Diving
DIVING & WATER SPORTS
Nova has a state-of-the-art PADI certified 5 Star dive centre with professional European dive masters. The SCUBA Centre features Guided Diving Boat Trips and Night Snorkeling Trips on the House Reef, Equipment and Accessory Sales, Rental and Repair and a complete PADI Instructional Program.
Nova is home to a gorgeous house reef that is located only 15 meters from the beach. The house reef is known to be populated with a plethora of stunning sea life including schools of snappers, soldier fish and batfish. The house reef is also home to mystical caves and overhangs. To explore the beauty of this house reef, Nova provides daily diving and night diving excursions.
From January till the end of March, visits to Manta points are made several times a week. In the months of September until December, there is a good chance of seeing whale sharks in the area.
Boat trips are available every day of the week. Full day, early morning and night dive excursions are organized regularly. All the dive sites are within 15 to 60 minutes by boat from the Vakarufalhi Island.
Sports
Water Sport Center
Nova water sport center offers non-motorized water sports for new or experienced windsurfers and catamaran sailors. Instructors are available to give lessons on water sports equipment. Kayaks are available to row along the lagoon.
