Diving

Maldives Diving and Snorkelling
At the One&Only Reethi Rah Maldives Dive Centre, a PADI Gold Palm Resort and the only PADI National Geographic Dive Centre in the Maldives, a team of experts offer a wide range of PADI-certified dive programmes for adults and children as young as 8 years old. A PADI Open Water Dive qualification can be achieved during a one-week stay. “Bubblemaker” lessons for younger kids and Discover Scuba programs for pre-teens and older are also available.

Maldives Diving Programmes and Services
Underwater scooters, digital cameras, and camcorders are available for personal use. The One&Only Reethi Rah Maldives Diving Centre operates two luxury Dive Dhonis, complete with sun decks, hot showers, robes and refreshments. State-of-the-art equipment includes SCUBAPRO, as well as Bauer and Komptec compressors, all serviced on a regular basis with absolute safety in mind.

Water Sports
Water sports on offer include banana tube rides, canoeing, kayaking, water-skiing and windsurfing.

Directly off the beach, a short distance into the ocean is the house reef, where guests can explore the Maldives marine life on their own or with a guide. The house reef can easily be reached by canoe or pedal boat for guests to then jump in and discover the many colourful beauties that populate the Maldives coral reefs. Some of the species commonly found around the house reef are manta rays, black spotted sting rays, butterfly fish, sweet lips, fusiliers, groupers, giant moray eels and many other tropical creatures of various sizes.

Land Sports

With its spectacular shape and six kilometres of stunning coastline blessed with 12 beautiful beaches, One&Only Reethi Rah, Maldives is a water-lover’s paradise. Many guests visit simply to explore the amazing tropical wonders of the Indian Ocean, embarking on a dolphin-watching expedition, gliding over crystalline waters on a catamaran, or soaring into the sky on a parasailing adventure.

Excitement is just beyond the doorstep of each villa with beach volleyball, tennis, rock climbing, golf, football and Pétanque. Bicycling and jogging are great ways to explore the island’s 44 hectares.

In addition to the versatile exterior living space, Beach Villas with Pool feature either one King-size or two Queen-size beds, oversized tub and indoor and outdoor showers. Duplex Beach Villa Pool Ideal for families, Duplex Beach Villa Pool consist of two Beach Villas, five metres apart, joined by an external walkway. An expanse of private shoreline stretches directly onto the white sand and inviting waters of the beach. One villa features a King-size bed, the other offers two Queen-size beds. (135m²/2,906ft²) The Duplex Beach Villa Pool are screened by abundant greenery, offering as much – or as little – privacy as required. Each has an outdoor shower and veranda, and the 23m²/248ft² pool is shared.
Water Villa These villas are the same size as the Beach Villas, and feature netted wraparound hammocks suspended over the water on the outer rim of the deck allowing for breezy sunbathing or relaxing stargazing. (149m²/1,603ft²)

Grand Beach Villa with pool One&Only Reethi Rah’s largest villas, the Grand Beach Villas are nestled in the island’s natural greenery and have a private stretch of beach. Grand Sunset Residence One&Only Reethi Rah’s largest villa, with over 2000m² of private beach front luxury the Grand Sunset Residence is nestled in the island’s natural greenery and has the largest private stretch of beach.
